1. Question: I drive a leased vehicle that is not a Hyundai, can I trade in my vehicle before the end of my lease terms?
Answer: Yes. We at Hamel Hyundai accept all trades.
2. Question: Can I release or purchase a new vehicle before the end of my present lease term?
Answer: Yes, a lease is a finance contract. Depending on your present car's evaluation and the balance you owe, many times a vehicle can be released after 3 short years at about the same payment per month with the same original conditions.
3. Question: Will I be responsible for over mileage and or excess damages if I change before the end of the term?
Answer: You are only responsible if the car is returned to Hyundai, if we take the car in trade; you are no longer responsible for any excess damages or mileage.
4. Question: Can I release a different model?
Answer: Yes, you can release any Hyundai product.
5. Question: Will I have to give a security deposit?
Answer: No, once a customer has a lease with Hyundai Canada finance, upon releasing a new vehicle, the security deposit is waved upon credit approval.
6. Question: When is the best time to release a new Hyundai?
Answer: Depending on the mileage driven, the state of the vehicle's appearance and demand for a specific model, you could possibly change your vehicle as early as 2 years into your lease.
7. Question: How do I proceed?
Answer: You call our renewal department. We will set up an appointment with one of the two renewal directors who will analyze your options for you.
8. Question: Are there any fees for this meeting?
Answer: No, it is absolutely free.
9. Question: Can I sell my lease to someone else and then release a new vehicle?
Answer: Yes, but our renewal department has to be advised.
10. Question: Do I have to lease for 48 months again?
Answer: No, we have 24 - 30 - 36 - 42 months on location also. Should you decide to purchase your next vehicle we have competitive rates and terms available till 84 months.
